Therapy room addition

I'm delighted to begin the autumn with a new addition to my therapy room, a Sicilian pinecone. We noticed them on holiday, placed in many doorways and entrances, and were intrigued to learn they were there to ward off negative energy and bad luck. Packed with seeds, pinecones also represent life-generating force, longevity and spiritual orientation.

We discovered that different colours of cones for some people represent different things (this is not a ubiquitous view). For younger family members pink represented prettiness, and red energy and passion, but in our selections we went for the more traditional interpretations!

So, for our front hallway Green, representing health, life and hope. This is what we wish for all visitors to our home and my office. And for the office itself, blue, representing protection and peace, just the vibe I am going for in this lovely tranquil space.
