Here’s a video of Dr. Andrew Huberman, a Stanford Neuroscientist, talking about the importance of forward action in subduing our stress response and releasing feel good dopamine. He explains why EMDR has such benefits therapeutically, with lateral eye movements mimicking the visual experience of moving forwards.
