What are you grateful for?

I recently came across Jizo figures and I am really struck by them.

Jizo figures can frequently be found along paths and roadways in Japan and represent the Buddhist divinity Jizo who is the patron and friendly protector of travelers, women and children. Jizo, a Bodhisattva, has achieved enlightenment and has remained behind in this world to help others along the path to spiritual enlightenment.

Jizo are used to help remind us to be mindful and grateful throughout the day. As we know both mindfulness and gratitude are good for mental health, I can’t think of a lovelier idea to share.

What are you grateful for right now?
