Your body is woven from the light of heaven
by Fe Robinson
Since reading Brian Cox's books about the nature of the universe (yes, I'm a closet physics geek!), I have been really taken with the concept that everything we are, and everything around us, is formed from atoms created in dying stars. We really, truly are stardust.
Sometimes when I get wound up in the trials of daily life (of which there are many, and they hurt), I come back to this. I just love that Rumi (born 1207), was reflecting on our connectivity with the heavens back then. It seems nothing is truly new.
Your body, and everything you are, is woven from the light of heaven. You are magnificent, just as you are.
